Steels Creek Estate was
established in 1981‚ initially
as an interest in the
viticultural aspects of
grapegrowing. The vineyard is
situated in the picturesque
Steels Creek Valley (part of
the Yarra Valley wine region)
with sweeping views towards
Mount Slide and the Kinglake
National Park. There is an
abundance of wildlife‚
contributing to the overall
charm of the location.
Visitors to the winery are
warmly welcomed and can view
the operations from the
tasting area. Our philosophy
of holding back our red
vintages, so they express
their bottle age
characteristics continues. The
difference is quite
discernible since bottling.
