This estate grown wine from low yielding 25 year old vines has spent 9 months in new French oak barrels producing a seamless marriage of fruit and oak while preserving the delicacy of fruit. The nose has hints of fine oak and tropical fruits with soft nuttiness. The palate is full flavoured with superb delicate flavours.
“Gourmet Traveller” picked our Chardonnay as one of the best six in the Valley. Gold Medal from the French Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

Matt's Take: "This Chardonnay is a little different to their normally creamy, fruit driven chardonnay's as it seems like this spent a little less time on oak as per usual, which has left it a little more acidic than normal. Like a lot of oaked chardonnay's, this should be drunk closer to room temperature than ice cold to bring out the complexities in the fruit characteristics."
